The Brief

A sports marketing company holds an annual conference for its European offices and each year different destinations are suggested. This time it was decided ‘by vote’ that a winter ski resort would be the chosen destination so that skiing could be incorporated into the conference programme.

  • An airport with good flight access with several flights per day plus accessible for non-UK based attendees
  • Good meeting facilities for a conference set-up in Classroom for 55 persons
  • Skiing or choice of non- ski activities for a half day
  • Flexibility for guests to extend their stay if required

The Solution

With a short transfer from Geneva, The Chalet Royalp Hotel in Villars matched the brief perfectly.  The Royalp is an excellent 5 * property which was ideal for this group as it was located in the heart of the village and close to the train stop taking guests up the mountain. This was key as guests only had a short amount of free time for activities.
