We have worked in over 40 resorts worldwide so you could say that we have been around the mountains a few times, so to speak. The choice of which resort is best suited for you will be dictated by your brief and budget.  It is therefore important that we have a thorough understanding of both of these so that we can recommend the most suitable locations.

While we have arranged ski events across the globe, we most frequently work in Switzerland, Austria, France and Italy. We are not restricted to the resorts shown below, but they represent some of the more popular destinations. Due to the volume of business we arrange, we are often able to find more favourable accommodation opportunities for our clients in these resorts.

Austria

Ischgl

Perhaps one of the best resorts in Austria. It has a traditional Tyrolean feel, an excellent lift system with good high intermediate skiing and a lively après-ski. As is the case with many Austrian resorts they often demand week long bookings, from Saturday to Saturday so it can be challenging to find availability across weekends.

Number of lifts : 45
Height of resort : 1,400m
Highest lift : 2,872m
Pistes : 238km
Access Airport : Zurich/ Innsbruck
Transfer by coach : 3 hrs/ 2 hrs

Kitzbuhel

The medieval walled city of Kitzbuhel is fairly unique and this central hub creates a real focal point to the village. The resort is typically Austrian offering superb hotels and restaurants and consequently has a wonderful atmosphere. We feel it is an excellent place to run a corporate event as it has all the right credentials.

Number of lifts : 60
Height of resort : 762m
Highest lift : 2,000m
Pistes : 170km
Access Airport : Munich/ Salzburg/ Innsbruck
Transfer by coach : 2.5 hrs/ 2 hrs/ 2 hrs

Lech & Zurs

The Arlberg Region really is as fantastic as everyone says it is. It has all the elements that you hope for when looking for a resort – superb mountain scenery, fantastic and varied skiing/boarding, friendly and hospitable locals, gourmet food and first class hotels. The only negative about this region is that it is extremely hard to find hotel space. However, over the years we have found a number of hotels who will make offers, so if an opportunity comes up we recommend you take the option – you will not be disappointed.

Number of lifts : 85
Height of resort : 1,450m
Highest lift : 2,380m

Transfer by coach : 2.5 hrs/ 2 hrs/ 1.75 hrs

St. Anton

The resort is an ideal choice for a high energy group who can stand the pace of getting to bed late and being up for the first lift. St Anton is a fantastic resort and perfect for a ski event, however it can be challenging to secure rooms for a 3-night stay!

Number of lifts : 94
Height of resort : 1,305m
Highest lift : 2,811m
Pistes : 305km

Zell am See / Kaprun

Skiing in Zell am See / Kaprun means perfectly groomed pistes, some great freeride routes, fun slopes for everyone and stunning parks and pipes. Both resorts are well known for some great après ski and are full of fantastic restaurants. You will also benefit from snow-sure skiing for all abilities as you can access the glacier above Kaprun.

Canada

Whistler Blackcomb

One of the top resorts in North America with the largest ski area and biggest vertical drop! There are some fantastic top class hotels, vibrant atmosphere and buzzing nightlife. It has to be on the list of resorts to visit if time and budget allows.

Height of resort : 670m

Pistes : 200km
Access Airport : Vancouver

France

Alpe d’Huez

With an extensive ski area and a variety of terrain, this resort provides high, sunny slopes and some lovely rustic mountain restaurants. The village itself is not pretty having been heavily developed in the 1960s but improvements are gaining momentum as more and more hotels are having renovations plus its certainly lively. Après ski and night-life are certainly lively.

Height of resort : 1,860m
Highest lift : 3,330m
Pistes : 245km
Access Airport : Lyon/ Grenoble
Transfer by coach : 2.5 hrs/ 2 hrs

Avoriaz

Avoriaz has a great position on the main Portes du Soleil circuit, giving skiers access to a huge number of runs spread across 14 valleys. However, being purpose built, their are more apartments than hotels making availability for weekend groups somewhat limited so early booking is recommended.

Number of lifts : 36 (access to 200 in Porte du Soleil)
Height of resort : 1,800m
Highest lift : 2,280m
Pistes : 650km
Access Airport : Geneva
Transfer by coach : 2.5 hrs

Chamonix

Chamonix has plenty of atmosphere, nightlife and skiing for all abilities, combined with a short transfer from Geneva airport, making it a very popular destination. The only negative is that transport is required to and from the slopes; however, the furthest is only 15 minutes away by road and there is an excellent local ski bus service. Many hotels also offer in-resort transfers for their guests. We feel that this minor logistical issue is outweighed by the huge benefits that Chamonix has to offer.

Number of lifts : 49
Height of resort : 1,035m
Highest lift : 3,842m
Pistes : 147km
Access Airport : Geneva

Courchevel

With the ski-in, ski-out convenience at most hotels, extensive skiing, choice of mountain restaurants and good nightlife, you can see why Courchevel is often at the top of people’s ‘wish list’ for ski events. Availability is hard to secure for large groups and you will certainly need deep pockets if you want to visit 1850! Its also worth considering Courchevel 1650 where there have been significant improvements in hotel and nightlife offerings at lower prices.

Number of lifts : 58 (access to 183 in Les 3 Vallées)
Height of resort : 1,850m
Highest lift : 2,659m
Pistes : 600km

La Plagne

La Plagne is the perfect destination for pushing your skiing to the limit with a vast ski area for all abilities. Good middle of the range accommodation located on the slopes means that ski-in ski-out is possible. Although not the prettiest of resorts, these factors certainly outweigh the fact that the transfer time is longer than most. La Plagne could work well for your internal company event.

Number of lifts : 71 (access to 141 in Paradiski)
Height of resort : 2,100m
Highest lift : 3,250m

Les Arcs

Les Arcs’ slopes offer remarkably varied skiing, with plenty to suit all standards, including some serious steep black runs and plenty of easy cruising. It’s ski area is linked to La Plagne to form the huge Paradiski area. Many hotels are ski-in ski-out but like its neighbour la Plagne, its has a longer than average airport transfer time so an earlier outbound flight is recommended.

Méribel

Méribel is extremely popular with British and French alike. There is no doubt that this ski area suits all standards and provides more than enough terrain to exhaust even the most advanced skiers and snowboarders. You should not be deterred by the altitude of the resort as the ski area goes up to 2950m and the links to other Trois Vallées resorts are excellent. Méribel offers a vast amount of terrain, first class accommodation, beautiful scenery and plentiful bars therefore making it a very attractive resort to hold a corporate event.

Morzine

A popular year round resort with a transfer time of under 1.5 hrs from Geneva airport and linked to the vast Portes du Soleil ski area. It is certainly prettier than its neighbour Avoriaz and has great nightlife. Morzine ticks all of the boxes.

Height of resort : 1,000m
Highest lift : 2,460m
Pistes : 110km

Tignes

Tignes, together with its neighbour Val d’Isere make up  what is called the ‘Espace Killy’, one of the best ski areas in Europe. Unlike Val d’Isere, Tignes is a purpose built resort and so perhaps lacks some of the village atmosphere of its neighbour. But it is a high resort so snow is guaranteed, making this a very popular destination albeit with a long airport transfer.

Number of lifts : 39 (access to 87 in Espace Killy)
Height of resort : 1,550m/1850m/2100m
Highest lift : 3,455m
Pistes : 300km

Val d’Isere

Val d’Isere offers a huge range of skiing from beginner slopes to the more challenging red and black runs, and some great off piste. While its a town rather than a village, with its old style buildings it still manages to keep its traditional mountain feel. There are numerous shops and hotels that suit all budgets and the nightlife is very lively. Val d’Isere has been a favourite with our clients for many years as it offers all the right elements for a successful ski weekend, it is unlikely that it’s popularity will wane any time soon.

Number of lifts : 42 (access to 87 in Espace Killy)

Italy

Bardonecchia

Since hosting the 2006 Winter Olympics this resort has become better known and the short transfer from Turin makes it very attractive. Bardonecchia is an Italian town with a local life, rather than a typical ski resort so it has a slightly different feel, which is good if you want to get away from the tour operators and perhaps try the local lingo!

Number of lifts : 22
Height of resort : 1,310m
Highest lift : 2,750m
Pistes : 85km
Access Airport : Turin
Transfer by coach : 1.5 hrs

Cervinia

Courmayeur

Located on the Italian side of the Mont Blanc Tunnel, the charming village of Courmayeur is mainly a weekend destination which welcomes the corporate market. The main lift from town up to Plan Chécrouit operates until midnight making for a lively, and late on-mountain après scene at Super G. With a short transfer, a range of 3, 4 and 5 star hotels and superb restaurants on and off the slopes, Courmayeur is justifiably a very popular destination.

Pistes : 100km
Access Airport : Geneva/ Turin

La Thuile

Situated in the corner of the Aosta Valley, this resort is less well known than neighbouring Courmayeur. Some developments in resort are not sympathetic to the beautiful environment but this should not distract from what this resort can offer. La Thuile is a revitalised mining town with a modern lift base but also boasts an old Italian quarter. With ski links to La Rosière too, its appeal to those who want to venture a little further afield is also significant.

Sauze d’Oulx

Still famously popular with the Brits, Sauze d’Oulx still has many lively bars festooned with English signs. However, things are changing and the resort has grown up over the past few years. It has a few faults, but these can be forgiven when you take into account the vast ski area of the Milky Way, beautiful surroundings, fantastic restaurants, value for money and brilliant nightlife.

Switzerland

Arosa / Lenzerheide

Arosa’s attraction for skiers transformed in 2015 after the opening of the link to neighbouring Lenzerheide, therefore trebling the ski area.  The resort itself is quite spread out but there are some good restaurants for dinners out and après ski is quite lively.  Some very good 5 star properties here, perfect for client events.

With a reasonable transfer from Geneva and a variety of hotels, Crans Montana is an obvious location for a corporate ski weekend. The skiing, although not as challenging as some resorts will suit all abilities and the scenery more than makes up for this.
