We are not a tour operator. This means that we are not bound to specific resorts and hotels. We simply offer you the best destination for the profile of your group, the purpose of your event and your budget. This also means that we can provide a bespoke and fully personalised service. With so many corporate winter events under our belts, we have acquired a great deal of knowledge and experience in sourcing and planning ski weekends. So as well as suggesting the resort that we believe is best suited for your group, we’ll also be able to recommend the best hotels, chalets, ski instructors, rental shops as well as places to eat and drink on and off the mountain.
Every event or ski weekend is different so we will deliver a tailor made experience to suit your requirements whether you are planning a self funded company ski weekend or a winter conference in mountains.
We also take a flexible approach as we appreciate that the needs of each client will vary a great deal. We are passionate about protecting the privacy of our clients and will never place two corporate groups in the same hotel at the same time. Once you have decided to work with us, your dedicated Account Manager will work closely with you to ensure every detail of your event is in hand.
This is one of the most important steps in our relationship with you. Our staff are meticulous in taking a detailed brief from you so that the event that we deliver is exactly as you want it to be. We are passionate about getting it right first time.
Once we receive your brief, you will be allocated a dedicated Account Manager who will start to process your event requirements and send out requests to appropriate hotels and chalets. Our knowledge of resorts continues to grow all the time.
Once we receive offers for your group, we will provide you with a full event proposal, offering a number of options, each with a detailed budget. This will include our personal recommendations and the pros and (hopefully not too many!) cons of each resort to enable you to make an informed decision.
Once you confirm your event with us, your Account Manager will look after every element of the programme, ensuring that each detail of the original brief is met. The key elements we will handle for you include:
Travelling to and from the resort efficiently and in comfort is most important. We work with a flight agent who are ATOL bonded meaning that the flights on your behalf are fully insured. We can book individual flights or group flights for larger groups, giving us more flexibility in terms of the number of seats we can hold and when passenger names need to be provided.
We also have contracts with a large number of transport companies based in ski resorts and can arrange car, mini bus and coach transfers from the most reliable suppliers.
If required we can also look at booking transport within the UK to and from the departure airport and/or airport parking.
In addition to a designated point of contact in our UK office, your event can be managed on-site by an experienced and highly skilled event manager who’s service will include:
All our staff are experienced skiers so will be able to accompany your group during the event to allow you to relax and enjoy interacting with your colleagues, clients or delegates.
In some circumstances, for example a self-funded company trip, an onsite event manager may not be required. In these cases we can set you up with an Event App containing itinerary, travel information, online maps and resort information so that attendees have everything at hand during the event.
Customised Event Itinerary App
The Vantage Point Group work with Vamoos, enabling us to offer a customised event itinerary app for your event. It allows us to upload event itineraries and important travel documents onto the app, which guests can then view prior to and during an event. Guests can also view maps, weather forecasts and receive important notifications regarding the event / itinerary. As well as making sure everyone is organised, it builds anticipation and it is paper free.
