A fast growing global IT company host a Winter Conference every year with employees attending from London, New York, San Francisco, Lahore, Paris and Prague.

  • Up to 280 delegates
  • 3 nights for senior management, 2 nights for the main group with the option to extend for the weekend to 4 or 5 nights
  • Destination to be accessible via a major hub for delegates from all over the world
  • Conference set-up in Theatre style and a large number of syndicate rooms required
  • Additional meeting for Senior Management the day prior
  • Extensive skiing and good nightlife
  • Team building activities for one afternoon

The Solution

Val d’Isere was the chosen destination as the hotel proposed could accommodate all 280 delegates and it offered guaranteed skiing for the time of the year. The conference was held in Tignespace, a state of the art conference centre only a 15 minute transfer from the hotel.

Highlights & Challenges

  • Sourcing flights for all 280 guests from different cities with differing day rotations and requests
  • Multiple transfers from different airports and transfers between the hotel to the conference centre
  • To arrange ski equipment rental within a limited timeframe
  • Source a number of non-ski activities
  • Arrange team building activities on the snow with games such as biathlon, snow golf, human curling and inflatable tubing slalom races
  • Reservations for après ski at the Folie Douce and post dinner clubbing at Dick’s Tea bar
  • Drinks reception and awards, and a last minute award of a helicopter flight over Mont Blanc
